My name is Amy Dicus. This is my third year teaching 6th grade at Collins Intermediate, but 9th year in education. I have previously taught pre-kindergarten, special education, 3rd grade, and 5th grade. I am a 2004 graduate of Scottsboro High School. I completed my Bachelors Degree from UAH and my Masters Degree from The University of West Alabama. I am married to Patrick Dicus, a firefighter at the Scottsboro Fire Department. I also have five year old twins, Cason and Landree, who will be starting Kindergarten this year. I enjoy painting, being outdoors, but, most of all, spending time with my family.
